Round Rock includes Williamson County real estate and homes in Travis County as it is located in both counties. It is part of the Austin-Round Rock-San Marcos metropolitan area. The city is about 20 miles from Austin, sharing a border with the city at SH 45. The city was named the seventh-best American small city in which to live by Money Magazine in 2008. It was the only Texas city to be named in the Top 10. In addition, the city was named as the second-fastest growing city in the country in a CNN article in 2009. They experienced an increase in population growth of 8.2% from 2008 to 2009.
