Williamson County real estate includes Cedar Park, Texas, a chief suburb of Austin. Early history of this city reveals that is was once called Running Brushy and Bruggerhoff. Neither name was well received by residents and in 1887, Cedar Park officially became the name. Also located in Cedar Park is the campus of Austin Community College. The campus was expanded in 2008 due to the growth of the population of the area. The Texas Psychological Association is located in Cedar Park.

Residents of homes in Williamson County enjoy a number of attractions and entertainment venues. The new skate park, a public facility, opened in July 2010. This is a 15,000 square-foot skate park with a mini bowl, a large bowl and an up-to-date street course. The fifth installment of the Schlitterbahn water park is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2012. The water park is not the only attraction. The Schlitterbahn Cedar Park will also feature a conference center, a boutique hotel, restaurants and retail space. The new attraction will add 1,000 new jobs to Cedar Park and will use the most modern water recycling technology.

Those who live in Williamson County real estate have a choice of churches. The Christ Episcopal Church, Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Cedar Park United Methodist, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and Lakehills Free Will Baptist Church are a few of these choices. The city even has a Reform Jewish synagogue that was founded in 2002.
